Dangol entered the service with a temporary appointment as an engineer at the then Nepal Telecommunications Corporation on 1st Jestha 2051 BS and was appointed permanently on 9th Jestha 2052 BS.

Reena Dangol has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director of Nepal Telecom Company Limited (Nepal Telecom). She has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director as per the decision of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Communications and Information Technology on Magh 22.

The newly appointed Acting Managing Director, Dangol, has a BE in Electronics and Electrical from Bangladesh University. She joined the service on a temporary appointment as an engineer at the then Nepal Telecommunication Corporation on 1st Jestha 2051 and took a permanent appointment on 9th Jestha 2052. 

She was appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of Nepal Telecom on 32nd Jestha 2080. She became the Director of the Provincial Directorate, Biratnagar and Kathmandu and the Wireline and Customer Service Directorate. She was currently working as the Chief Technical Officer.

Taking charge, Dangol said that she would move forward by keeping the interests of the company, employees and the nation at the center in accordance with the wishes of the customers and the priorities of the government. She has planned to make the company customer-centric, technology-friendly and financially capable, while balancing public responsibility and competitive ability.
