Kathmandu International Airport, which was closed for some time this morning due to adverse weather conditions, has now fully reopened.

According to airport officials, the airport was closed at 7:20 am due to low visibility.

Operations resumed for RNPR approach aircraft at 10 am when visibility reached 1,100 meters. The airport said that domestic and international flights, including ATR and jet engines, have been open since around 11 am.

With the opening of the airport, the stranded passengers are getting easier. However, six domestic airports - Nepalgunj, Janakpur, Bharatpur, Tumlingtar, Ghangadhi and Rajbiraj - are still closed due to adverse weather conditions.
