According to NEPSE, shares worth Rs 16.35 billion 5.7 million were traded.
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which measures share trading, fell by 3.07 points. Although the NEPSE index fell by 0.11 percent compared to Sunday, the trading volume increased.
The overall NEPSE has fallen to 2,769.09 points after the decline. Of the 88 companies that were traded, the share price increased, the price of 165 companies decreased, and the price of 7 companies remained stable.
Out of the total 13 subgroups, only hotels and tourism, hydropower, production and processing, and collective investment funds increased. The remaining subgroups decreased.
A total of 147,676 transactions were made, with 36,264,873 shares being bought and sold. According to NEPSE, shares worth 16.35 billion 5.7 million rupees were traded.
Monday's trading is the highest since last Shrawan. Previously, on 15 Shrawan 2082, a transaction of 16.44 billion rupees was made.
