The price of gold has increased significantly in the local market. Today, one tola of gold has increased by 10,400 rupees compared to Tuesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Federation, the price of one tola of printed gold has been fixed at Rs 295,100 and the price of silver at Rs 5,920 today. 

On Tuesday, the price of one tola of printed gold was Rs 284,700 and the price of silver at Rs 5,880. Last Sunday, one tola of gold was traded at Rs 278,800 and the same amount of silver at Rs 5,625. On Monday, one tola of gold was bought and sold at Rs 282,000 and the same amount of white metal at Rs 5,810. 

According to international media, one ounce of gold is being traded at Rs 4,740 and the same amount of white metal at $95 in the international market today. 

According to economic analysts, the price of gold and silver has increased due to increased demand as a safe investment due to increasing uncertainty in the global economy, inflation and geopolitical tensions.
