On Monday, one tola of gold was bought and sold at Rs 282,000 and the same amount of white metal at Rs 5,810.
According to international media, one ounce of gold is being traded at Rs 4,740 and the same amount of white metal at $95 in the international market today.
According to economic analysts, the price of gold and silver has increased due to increased demand as a safe investment due to increasing uncertainty in the global economy, inflation and geopolitical tensions.
