The Citizens Investment Fund has contributed Rs 5.1 million to the 'Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund' established by the government for the reconstruction of physical structures damaged by arson and vandalism during the Gen-G protests on Bhadra 23 and 24.
The fund has provided the amount under its corporate social responsibility with the aim of assisting in the reconstruction of physical infrastructure damaged during the Gen-G movement, economic revival and relief work. Tulsi Prasad Ghimire, Chairman of the Citizen Investment Fund, handed over a check of the amount to Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal on Friday, informed Tanka Prasad Pandey, spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry of Finance has also stated that Rs 147 million has been deposited in the fund till date.
