The presence of tourists visiting the historically and religiously important Gosainkunda area and the scenic and beautiful Langtang area from a natural perspective is seen to be high. According to Shyam Kumar Shah, Senior Conservation Officer of Langtang National Park, 32,671 domestic and foreign tourists visited the Gosainkunda and Langtang areas under the park from Shrawan to Poush mid-July of the current fiscal year. This includes 5,884 foreign tourists and 26,787 domestic tourists. This number is expected to reach 50,000 in the current fiscal year. The park has stated that about 44,000 tourists visited Rasuwa in the last fiscal year.
Clarifying that there is a provision to charge an entry fee of Rs 3,000 for foreign tourists visiting the park and Rs 100 for Nepalis, Keshav Dhadari, the park's registrar, informed that Rs 23.988 million, 660 in revenue has been collected in the last six months.
With the increase in the number of tourists visiting the Himalayan district of Rasuwa, which is close to the Kathmandu Valley, there has been more activity, especially in the Gosainkunda, Langtang and Syafru areas, according to Babulal Tamang, the chairman of the district-based civil society, who has benefited from the increase in the number of local hoteliers, farmers, and workers.
