This hotel, which has been operating with the concept of ‘a peaceful and relaxing experience in the lap of nature, an ideal place to have fun with family and friends’, is owned by Godavari Forest Hotel Pvt. Ltd. and is managed by the international hotel chain Best Western Plus.
This 10-storey hotel, spread over an area of nine ropanis, has 83 well-equipped rooms, 3 meeting halls, 2 restaurants, 1 infinity pool, and a program hall with a capacity of more than 300 people, according to the hotel.
This hotel is specifically targeted at meetings, conferences, and domestic tourism.
The lush green hills, clean air, and peaceful environment make the hotel feel like a resort even though it is close to the city. It is believed to be a ‘comfortable destination close to nature’ for families, couples, and corporate groups.
After the hotel was launched, it has provided direct employment to about 70 people. Investors expect this to promote tourism in the Godavari region, strengthen the local economy and contribute to the development of the hospitality industry.
One of the main operators of the hotel is Yubaraj Shrestha. He is also currently the treasurer of the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN). Shrestha has been operating the Soaltee West End Resort in Meghauli, Chitwan. In Kathmandu, he is operating four budget hotels - Crown Plaza (Naxal), Shivam Plaza (Gaushala), Airport Budget Hotel (Sinamangal) and Prince Plaza.
Shrestha, whose Godavari Forest Hotel project also includes Biyaj Malla, Rajendra Bhandari, Netra Chataut, Kushendra Mahat, Kalyan Joshi and Madanlal Joshi as operators, told Kantipur on Sunday.
The Godavari region is considered rich in religious, natural and biological diversity. The Godavari Forest Hotel, which was launched based on this opportunity, is expected to create a new tourist destination identity in the valley. A serene environment, international service, and a close experience with nature – all of these are believed to make Godavari Forest Hotel a special four-star destination in the Valley.
