Sources have stated that the maximum amount collected was up to 15 million rupees, while one rupee was received from more than a dozen people.

As of Thursday, Rs 127 million has been collected in the fund established by the government for the reconstruction of public infrastructure damaged during the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24.
For the reconstruction of public infrastructure, the government had urged everyone to voluntarily contribute by opening a bank account in the name of the 'Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund' at the Rastriya Banijya Bank on October 23. In the meantime, Rs 118.7 million has been collected in the fund till Wednesday.
On Thursday, The Oriental Insurance Company contributed Rs 2 million to the fund. Along with this, around Rs 127 million has been collected in the fund from individuals and organizations, according to the Ministry of Finance.
There are fewer organizations and more individuals among those who have contributed to the fund so far. In terms of amount, the highest amount collected was Rs 1.5 million, while more than a dozen individuals received one rupee, according to sources.
A government study report has shown that physical damage worth Rs 84.5 billion was caused during vandalism, looting and arson on the 23rd and 24th. The report has pointed out that during the protests, public property, private businesses and institutions and commercial houses across the country suffered damage worth Rs 84.45 billion.
The report states that 2,168 bodies and organizations were affected by the protests. Of these, 2,671 buildings were damaged. The damage is estimated at Rs 39.31 billion 75 million.
The report states that 12,659 vehicles were damaged in the protests, resulting in a loss of Rs 12.93 billion 61 million. The report points out that out of the total damage, Rs 44.93 billion 73 million was from the government and public sector, Rs 33.54 billion 87 million was from the private sector, and Rs 5.97 billion 17 million was from the community and other sectors.
Of the total government damage, 68 percent was from the federal government, while 10 and 22 percent were from the provincial and local levels, respectively. The committee has also submitted a reconstruction action plan. It is estimated that a budget of Rs 36.32 billion 21 million is required for reconstruction.
