Nepal Reinsurance Company has paid about Rs 3.2 billion to non-life insurance companies for the payment of insurance claims for physical and other damages incurred during the Genji movement.
According to the latest statistics, a total of 2,862 reinsurance claims have been filed with Nepal Reinsurance Company from 14 different non-life insurance companies, with a total claim amount of approximately Rs 16.62 billion.
