The government has decided to accept a concessional loan worth approximately Rs 14.38 billion from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for public finance management and transfer-related programs.

The Cabinet meeting on Monday decided to exempt the profit tax on the transfer of 1-15-10 bighas of land in Lahan Municipality of Siraha, registered in the joint names of Pawan Kumar Sharda and Murari Lal Murarka, and the building built on it, to the name of Ram Kumar Sharda Uma Prasad Murarka Provincial Hospital.

The meeting decided to form a delegation coordinated by the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to participate in the ninth meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Agricultural Working Group to be held in Kathmandu from December 12 to 14, informed the government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel.

The Cabinet has approved the temporary recruitment of eight officer-level posts for the Irrigation Modernization and Enhancement Project under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development for the remaining period of the current fiscal year. The meeting has given prior approval to conduct a survey of the organization and management of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and related bodies.

Similarly, it has been decided to transfer Additional Inspector Generals of Armed Police Force Narayan Dutta Poudel, Banshiraj Dahal and Ganesh Bahadur Thadamaga. The meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to promote two Nepali Army colonels to the rank of Assistant Lieutenant Colonel and one Chief of Staff to the rank of Colonel and to transfer six Lieutenant Colonels and seven Colonels, informed Minister of Communications and Spokesperson of the Government of Nepal Kharel.
