Diesel and kerosene prices fall, petrol rises

Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by four rupees per liter, effective from midnight today. Petrol has been increased by two rupees per liter.

Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the prices of diesel and kerosene, while increasing the price of petrol.

The board of directors of the corporation has reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by four rupees per liter, effective from midnight today. Petrol has been increased by two rupees per liter. 

With the price adjustment, diesel and kerosene have been fixed at 139 rupees 50 paisa per liter for the first class, 141 rupees for the second class, and 142 rupees for the third class. Similarly, petrol has been fixed at 160 rupees 50 paisa per liter for the first class, 162 rupees for the second class, and 163 rupees for the third class. 

The corporation has placed Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj depots in the first class, Surkhet and Dang depots in the second class, and Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal depots in the third class. The retail sale price will be applicable for areas up to 15 kilometers from the corporation's depot. 

The Corporation has kept the prices of aviation fuel and cooking gas unchanged. 

The Corporation has stated that the retail selling prices have been adjusted as diesel and kerosene have decreased by Rs 6.93 per liter and petrol has increased by Rs 1.94 per liter as per the new purchase price of petroleum products received from the Indian Oil Corporation today.
