4 new members elected to Nepal Bankers Association

The association's annual general meeting held on Wednesday elected Ram Kumar Tiwari, CEO of Nepal SBI Bank, Manoj Gyawali, CEO of Nabil Bank, Ajay Bikram Shah, CEO of Laxmi Sunrise Bank, and Sanjeev Manandhar, CEO of Prime Bank, to fill the vacant member positions.

Four bankers have been elected as executive members of the Nepal Bankers Association, the umbrella organization of commercial banks.

The association's annual general meeting held on Wednesday elected Ram Kumar Tiwari, CEO of Nepal SBI Bank, Manoj Gyawali, CEO of Nabil Bank, Ajay Bikram Shah, CEO of Laxmi Sunrise Bank, and Sanjeev Manandhar, CEO of Prime Bank, to the vacant member positions. Among them, Manandhar has been re-elected as a member, while the remaining three are new entrants. 

The terms of the previous members, Nischal Raj Pandey, CEO of Sanima Bank, Ashok Sherchan, CEO of Prabhu Bank, and Sundar Prasad Kandel, CEO of Siddhartha Bank, had expired.

Prime Bank CEO Sanjeev Manandhar has been re-elected for a second term even though his one term has expired. Everest Bank CEO Sudesh Khaling and Nepal Bank CEO Tilak Raj Pandey, who were previously elected members, had their terms remaining. 

This year, the Bankers' Association honored former chairman of Machhapuchhre Bank, Upendra Mahato.
