The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, a gauge of stock trading, rose by 5.32 points. It had risen by 50 points on Monday.

The overall NEPSE rose by 0.20 percent on Tuesday compared to Monday, reaching 2,655.99 points.
Out of the 13 sub-groups traded on the day, 122 companies increased their share prices, 125 companies decreased their prices, and 10 companies remained unchanged.

A total of 1,976,780 shares were traded on the day in 12,642 share transactions. Shares worth Rs 5.823 billion were traded in those transactions. The share trading amount decreased compared to Monday. Shares worth Rs 7.354 billion were traded on Monday.

Out of the 13 sub-groups traded on the day, the overall NEPSE increased after all the sub-groups except for development banks, life insurance, mutual funds, and trade increased.
