The price of gold and silver has increased slightly in the local market today due to increasing demand and price increases in the international market.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Merchants' Federation, today, the price of one tola of gold has been fixed at 244,600 rupees. Last Friday, one tola of gold was traded at 241,700 rupees.
Similarly, the price of silver has been fixed at 3,135 rupees per tola. The same amount of silver was bought and sold at 3,100 rupees on Friday.
According to international media, one ounce of gold is being traded at 4,063 and the same amount of silver is being traded at 51 US dollars in the international market today.
