NEPSE rises by a small percentage point after falling for three consecutive days

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), which had been declining continuously for the previous three trading days, saw a modest improvement on Tuesday. The NEPSE rose to 2,565.16 points with an improvement of 3.21 points on Tuesday. This is an improvement of 0.12 percent compared to the previous day.

Of the 142 companies traded on that day, the share price increased, the price of 102 companies decreased, and the price of 10 companies remained stable. Thus, the overall NEPSE has seen a general improvement as fewer companies declined than increased share prices. 

A total of 7,947,058 shares were traded on that day in 55,632 share transactions. Shares worth Rs 3.62 billion 61 lakh were traded in those transactions. The transaction amount also decreased compared to the previous day. Shares worth Rs 4.51 billion 44 lakh were traded on Monday. 

Of the 13 subgroups traded on Tuesday, the indices of development banks, finance companies, hotels and tourism, investment, microfinance and others decreased. 

The indices of all the remaining subgroups increased, according to NEPSE.
