A fund established for the reconstruction, economic revival, relief, and rehabilitation of physical infrastructure damaged in the Bhadra 24 protests has collected Rs. 75.2 million.

The Physical Reconstruction Committee, formed to make the reconstruction work of public and government physical structures damaged by the protests systematic and effective, met on Monday under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal. The meeting decided to spend the funds collected in the fund to prepare detailed engineering designs of damaged public structures and prepare a reconstruction report, to immediately repair and restore public structures and to carry out economic revival, relief and rehabilitation programs.

Three and a half million rupees have been allocated to prepare detailed engineering designs and reconstruction reports of government and public buildings across the country.

Two and one and a half million rupees have been allocated for programs to be implemented through the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction and the Federal Secretariat Construction and Management Office, respectively. Two and a half million rupees have been allocated to immediately repair and restore public structures and to carry out economic revival, relief and rehabilitation programs to be implemented by the same department.

One crore rupees have been allocated for the immediate maintenance of public infrastructure to be implemented by the Federal Secretariat Construction and Management Office. Five million rupees have been allocated for the economic revival, relief and rehabilitation program through the department.

The meeting has decided to operate a separate website

to maintain transparency and transparency in the amount collected in the fund and the work of the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Committee.
