Prime Minister Sushila Karki has urged the private sector to move forward with confidence without fear. Speaking at the 'National Economic Debate 2.0' organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Prime Minister Karki made the appeal to entrepreneurs, farmers and youth.
‘I want to appeal – do not be afraid, but move forward with confidence. This is not the time for you to harbor suspicion and fear. This is the time to join hands,’ she said, ‘Various studies have indicated that our economic growth rate will increase and inflation will decrease, which shows that our efforts are in the right direction. We will unite to build a better tomorrow than yesterday.’
She said that if we do not build our country, no one will come and build it for us and that we should take the lead, so we are in a position to be confident that this country is worth living in for our descendants.
‘I think this National Economic Debate 2.0 will present to us the blueprint of Nepal and Nepal that we have imagined, based on equality, inclusiveness and prosperity, respected in the world. This government understands the value of your sweat,’ she said, ‘We will unite to build a better tomorrow than yesterday.’
