The Office of the Comptroller General of Nepal has submitted the consolidated financial statements of the central accounts of the Government of Nepal for the last fiscal year 2081/82, the annual report of internal audit, and the consolidated annual statement of assets of the Government of Nepal.
Comptroller General Shobha Kant Poudel submitted these reports and details to Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal today. Similarly, the Office of the Comptroller General has today submitted the consolidated financial statements of the central accounts and the consolidated annual statement of movable, immovable assets and liabilities of the Government of Nepal to the Office of the Auditor General.
According to Deepak Lamichhane, spokesperson of the Office of the Comptroller General, these statements and reports, which have been prepared in accordance with the Nepal Public Sector Accounting Standards and the accounting format approved by the Auditor General, include the details prescribed by the prevailing laws of the budget and extra-budgetary bodies of the Government of Nepal.
According to the report, the consolidated fund of the Government of Nepal in the fiscal year 2081/82 is negative by Rs 196.3459 billion and the cash position is negative by Rs 31.3461 billion. However, based on the balance of various funds and the remaining balance of extra-budgetary bodies, cash and bank balances are positive by Rs 65.81 billion. 26 million, informed Spokesperson Lamichhane.
