The government has spent 18 percent of the budget in the first three months of the current fiscal year 2082/83. According to the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, Rs 364.58 billion, or 18.56 percent of the annual allocation, has been spent by the end of last Asoj.
The government had brought a budget of Rs 1964.11 billion for the current fiscal year.

The government's revenue collection during the same period is 16.51 percent of the annual target. The government had set a revenue target of Rs 1533.33 billion, 446.9 million for this year, but Rs 253.18 billion has been collected so far.
The government's target of collecting Rs 1480 billion in internal revenue has been collected by mid-Asoj, but 16.83 percent of the annual target, or Rs 249.51 billion, has been collected.
Similarly, of the target of receiving foreign grants of Rs 53.44 billion 6.9 million, 3.76 percent, or Rs 2.72 billion, has been received so far.
