Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of petrol. The corporation has reduced the price of petrol by two rupees per liter with effect from 12 midnight on Wednesday. According to the corporation, the prices of diesel and kerosene have been kept unchanged.

'Even though the price has been increased by the Indian Oil Corporation, the retail sale price has been kept unchanged to reduce the pressure of price increase on the general consumer category when the price of petroleum products is increased during the festive season and to maintain price stability and arrange the smooth supply of petroleum products throughout the country', the corporation said.
