According to the ministry, 1 billion 70 million rupees remain for the reconstruction of the structures damaged by last year's disaster. 

Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport and Urban Development Kulman Ghising said that the subordinate agencies are working on the operation of the roads that were damaged due to the flood and blocked as a high priority. Minister Ghising mentioned that equipment and manpower have been mobilized for the operation of the blocked roads as quickly as possible and the work is being closely monitored by himself and the ministry. 

This year's monsoon disaster has caused the most damage to the Machi highway. It is estimated that one and a half billion rupees will be needed for the reconstruction of the Mechi highway. It is estimated that the reconstruction of damaged highways like Koshi, Madhyapahari, Hulaki, Araniko, Kanti, Narayangadh-Mugling etc. will cost approximately 3.77 billion rupees. 

Likewise, it is estimated that 4 billion 52 million rupees will be needed to rebuild 17 permanent bridges that have been damaged. It is estimated that it will cost 80 million rupees for the damaged and new Bely Bridge that needs to be kept for road operation. It is estimated that one billion and 59 million rupees will be needed for the reconstruction of alternative roads.
