The Ministry of Finance has launched the Integrated Office Management System (GIOMS). Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal launched the system today after accepting the file from the system.

It is said that this system has been started to implement the government's concept of making the work done by government agencies paperless by making it simple, easy, quick, economical, transparent and effective through a single information technology system.

The use of this system, developed by the Department of Information Technology under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, has been made mandatory in the Ministry of Finance.  By using this system, it has been arranged that special orders and comment decisions, registration of letters and invoices, attendance, leave and work approval, records management, etc. must be processed using electronic signature.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the implementation of this system is expected to increase speed in the decision-making process, frugality in expenses, transparency and accountability in the work process.
