A black sheet has been started at Janagal-Bhaisepati of Kavrepalanchok under the Suryavinayak-Dhulikhel road section under the Araniko highway. Black sheeting has been started in the Janagaal area of Banepa Municipality-10 on the section of the road which was stopped due to rain.

The Suryavinayak-Dhulikhel, Dhulikhel-Sindhuli-Bardibas road project has been started after the completion of the work of "SISTB" in August.

Earlier, expansion was stopped due to monsoon in June and July. Project Engineer Bishnu Prasad Khanal said that black paper was started from Janagal towards Bhainsepati. According to him, after the work of "CTB" towards Sanga, the black paper will be continued.

In Pulbazar area of Banepa, the work has been stopped for about six months due to the obstruction of the locals. The extension has been stopped after the locals objected to the "center line" in about 200 meters of the area. From the middle of the road, at the rate of 75 feet on both sides (150 feet), the work is being done on 140 feet.

At present, sewerage is being constructed on about one km road from Chandeswari river on the eastern side of Banepa to Chardobato in Banepa . Apart from Pulbazar, work is being done in short sections from Suryavinayak to Dhulikhel, Khanal said. At present, the road is not being paved in one km area, and if the wall, drain, and pavement work is completed, the road to Banepa is being prepared in a few days.

Also, the road from Bhaktapur's Suryavinayak to Kavrepalanchok's Dhulikhel under Arani Highway will not be extended to six lanes. It is said that the project will not be extended in the remaining four months.

This 16 km long road, which was started on December 24, 2079, was set to be completed within 36 months. The said road section is divided into two sections from Suryavinayak to Sanga and from Sanga to Dhulikhel and is being expanded according to the contract agreement.

At present, out of the two sections, 40 percent of the Suryavinayak-Sanga section and 50 percent of the Sanga-Dhulikhel section have been completed, Khanal informed. In the Sanga-Dhulikhel section, it has been reported that about 65 percent of the physical construction work will be completed by the deadline due to the dispute of individual houses including the bridge in the urban area of Banepa and the failure to demolish the houses within the standards.

Under this project, an agreement was reached for the expansion of the 8.4 km Sanga to Dhulikhel road section in the first phase for Sanga-Dhulikhel for 4 billion 564 million and the Suryavinayak-Sanga road section which started in the second phase for 3 billion 888 million 93 million .
