Formation of a suggestion task force for the reform of the capital market, the deadline for submitting the report is five days

Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal has formed a suggestion task force for capital market reform. After NEPSE fell by 160 points after three negative circuit breakers on Thursday, Finance Minister Khanal formed a four-member working group under the coordination of Rupesh KC, executive director of the Securities Board.

The members of the working group are Sharan Adhikari, Director of Nepal Rastra Bank and Niranjan Phuyal, Executive Director of Nepal Stock Exchange. Sharad Niraula, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Finance, is the member secretary of the working group. 

"A working group has been formed in accordance with the decision of the Government of Nepal (Finance Minister level) on 03 Oct 082 for the purpose of studying the discrepancies and problems developed in the capital market and presenting suggestions and a concrete implementation plan within five days for the systemic and procedural reforms that should be taken immediately to increase the morale of common investors," the letter of the Ministry of Finance said.
