Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Vishwanath Paudel has said that legal clarity is necessary for the development of the economy. While welcoming the new working committee of Nepal Economic Journalists Society (SEJAN) on Thursday, he mentioned that there is a need to have clarity according to the spirit of the law as it is difficult to work due to lack of legal clarity in some cases.

He said that legal clarity is also necessary to solve the problems arising from the recent situation in the country. "The clarity of the law is necessary in all fields, especially if the interpretation of the law is not good by the journalists while writing the news, there is a risk of sending the wrong message, everyone should be aware of this," he said. Mentioning that journalism is an important medium to interact with common citizens, he also said that the Central Bank is ready for cooperation with Sejan.

He also mentioned that there will be no shortage of resources for the reconstruction of structures damaged during the Zen-G movement. "Large resources are needed for reconstruction, but the most important issue is improving governance and administrative efficiency," he said. Even though the attack on the private sector during the

demonstration increased concern among businessmen  He said that there is no option but to move forward by raising the morale of the private sector. "Many private commercial buildings have been damaged during the demonstration, but now our priority should be to create an investment environment in the country and attract foreign investment, so if we can create an environment that stops domestic investment here, it will not take long for the economy to move," Governor Paudel said.

He also mentioned that political stability, investment-friendly environment, and improvement in the morale of the private sector are necessary for the development of the economy. Also, he said that reform of the economy system is necessary to wake up businessmen.
