Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal is going to cut the pieces and unprepared projects included in the budget of the current financial year.

For this, Khanal has formed a three-member committee under the coordination of Suman Dahal, Head of Budget and Program Division. In the first decision after taking charge of the finance minister, Khanal has formed a recommendation committee for the reduction of piecemeal projects. 

In the three-member committee, revenue division chief Uttar Kumar Khatri and foreign aid coordination division chief Dhaniram Sharma are members. 

The committee has been given a three-day deadline to recommend cutting the project. According to which the committee will have to submit the report by Wednesday. 

On Monday, while Finance Minister Khanal was taking charge, Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay cut and removed unprepared projects from the current financial year's budget, about 1 billion rupees  He said that it can be removed.
