Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection has decided to arrange a toll-free number for collecting public complaints and to address the complaints received immediately. The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control has decided to stop the adulteration of inedible items in food, the sale and distribution of substandard food items, to maintain food hygiene and quality, to collect samples of dairy products, vegetables, fruits, meat, etc.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to monitor the market through all district administration offices to ensure easy supply of goods and services and control the use, sale and distribution of non-food items and the black market.
