The industry was established in 2033 in Lamsure of Hetaunda and started producing cement from 2043. But due to economic problems and other reasons, industries are closing and opening. Earlier, the industry had been operating since the second week of last May and produced about one lakh sacks of cement. The industry has limestone quarries in four places namely Jogimara in Dhading and Okhre, Majua and Bhaise in Makwanpur.
Acting General Manager Sah says that it is difficult to operate the industry due to problems such as old technology, equipment, lack of market, price adjustment, lack of staff according to the rank, competitive market etc.
