The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, fell by 26.22 points on Tuesday. NEPSE, which decreased by 31.50 points the previous day, also decreased by double digits on Tuesday. After decreasing by 0.92 points compared to Monday, the overall NEPSE closed at 2,796.24 points.
Out of the 24 companies that traded on that day, 225 companies fell while the share price increased.
On Tuesday, 1 crore 76 lakh 71 thousand 675 shares were bought and sold in a transaction of 78 thousand 226 times. Shares worth 6 billion 91 million 89 million rupees were traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has decreased. Shares worth 10.21 billion rupees were traded on Monday.
Out of the 13 sub-groups that came into business that day, the overall NEPSE decreased by 26 points after the index of all except hotel and tourism decreased. On that day, the hotel and tourism subgroup index increased by 1.32 percent.
