UML MP Surya Thapa has said that government funds are made for show rather than for work. MP Thapa said that the government style of law making is also not correct.
In the discussion on Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2081 at the meeting of Finance Committee on Monday, MP Thapa said that the funds made to show do not have meaning. He expressed his suspicion that there is a risk that the alternative development finance fund could be a model of the same.
MP Thapa said, "Government funds are made for show rather than work". Based on the capital structure of the alternative development finance operation fund, its basis is needed. Naming it as an alternative finance fund, but the current capital structure does not show that it is alternative.'
MP Thapa said that if the budgetary resources of the existing development are not enough, it is necessary to determine the maximum amount of resources needed while searching for alternative resources.
MP Thapa also said that the government officials were presented in a light manner while creating the law . "While making the law, we should not keep the subject matter so lightly," he said.
