The department has warned that if the advertisement is not uploaded online, it will be considered incomplete and action will be taken as per the rules.
The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has directed to publish online advertisements related to foreign employment compulsorily.
Under this, the Department of Labor and Occupational Safety has from now on made it mandatory for all advertisements related to foreign employment to be published online through "Shram Sansar Rozgar Portal" ( www.shramsansar.gov.np ) and "Shram Sansar App". In the notice issued by the
department on Tuesday, it is stated that the provision of publication of advertisements in the national daily newspaper with the necessary details disclosed in accordance with Section 22(3) of the Foreign Employment Act, 2064 and Rule 7 of the Foreign Employment Regulations, 2064 will remain unchanged. However, it has now been made mandatory to upload the advertisement on Shram Sansar portal as well.
After the government launched the Shram Sansar portal in coordination with the citizen app, the department has made it clear that arrangements have been made for citizens to view advertisements easily through the app as well. It is mentioned in the notification that online publication has been made mandatory as the advertisement is published only in the National Daily and cannot be verified through the citizen app.
Department has informed all foreign employment professionals to upload the advertisement on Shram Sansar portal or app and include all the details while publishing the advertisement to send workers for foreign employment.
According to this provision which has been implemented since June 13th, the department has warned that if the advertisement is not uploaded online, it will be considered incomplete and action will be taken according to the rules.
