Tea export from Mechi customs office has increased by 32.50 percent in fiscal year 2081/82. According to the data of the office, tea worth 4 billion 21 crore 35 lakh 92 thousand has been exported.

Mechi Customs Office Information Officer Ishwar Kumar Humagain informed that 15 thousand 416.756 metric tons of tea was exported in one year. He said that in 2080/81, tea worth 3.17 billion 95 lakh 27 thousand was exported. According to the data of the

office, the export of cardamom has decreased by 3.20 percent in 2081/82. During that one year, cardamom worth 7 billion 674 million 37 thousand has been exported. In the same period of the previous year 2080/81, cardamom exports worth 7.93 billion 999,000 were reported by Information Officer Humagai.

In the last year 2081/82, goods worth 25,139,750,000 have been exported from Mechi Customs.
