The Foreign Employment Department has suspended 350 manpower companies that could not send 100 workers in the last financial year. According to the Foreign Employment Act-2064, the department has suspended manpower companies that cannot send 100 workers per year. Kamal Prasad Bhattarai, director general of the department, said that the suspension of institutions will not be lifted until the government clears the obstacles and makes a new arrangement.

Similarly, there is a provision that those who send more than 5000 rupees will have to keep a bond of 2 crore rupees and a bank guarantee of 4 crore rupees.
