China is going to help in the reconstruction of physical structures damaged by floods in Rasuwa. During the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel and the delegation led by China International Development Assistance Agency (CIDCA) Chen Xiaodong, Xiaodong said that he will provide necessary support in the reconstruction of physical structures and work so that the customs process will be carried out quickly.

Finance Minister Paudel's Secretariat said that in the meeting held on Monday at the Ministry of Finance, bilateral relations between Nepal and China, including development partnership, and the projects to be conducted with China's support were discussed.  MoUs were signed for four different projects along with

bilateral meetings. A memorandum of understanding has been signed regarding the project for the construction of bone marrow transplant at BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital at Bharatpur in Chitwan and the feasibility study for expansion of the Civil Servant Hospital. It was signed by Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay on behalf of Nepal and Chairman of CIDCA on behalf of China.

A memorandum of understanding on human resource development has also been signed between the two countries. Through this, more than 1,200 government employees will get an opportunity to participate in bilateral and multilateral seminars organized by various organizations in China. On that occasion, Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Hitendradev Shakya and CIDCA President Xiaodong signed the minute regarding feasibility study of construction of Rasuwagadhi-Kerung international electricity transmission line.

Finance Minister Paudel mentioned that post-disaster reconstruction is Nepal's top priority and thanked the Chinese side for their readiness, interest and commitment towards the reconstruction of physical structures.
