According to the insurance authority, there have been 10 claims against Shikhar Insurance. A claim of 16 crore 12 lakh rupees has been made at the peak. Similarly, a demand of 5 crore 12 lakh rupees has been claimed in Neko Insurance for 3 cases. The number of claims in Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance is seven. The claim amount is 3 crore 41 lakh rupees.
Similarly, 6 claims have been made in Sanima GIC Limited. In which there is a claim of 77 lakhs. Another IGI Prudential Insurance Company has 9 claims. In which a demand of 75 lakh 50 thousand rupees has been claimed. There have been 3 demands in United Azod Insurance. In which there is a claim amount equal to 68 lakhs.
NLG Insurance has received 6 demands. In which there have been claims worth Rs 47 lakh, while 7 claims have been made in Siddharth Premier Insurance. According to the data provided by the Insurance Authority, the claim amount is 31 lakhs.
Out of the total 63 claims, there are 6 claims for marine insurance, 4 for engineering and contractor risk, 10 for property insurance, 32 for motor insurance (public), and 11 for private motor insurance.
The flood in Rasuwa swept away the bridge connecting Nepal and China. Because of this, trade to China via Rasuwagadhi has been affected for two weeks. The flood caused great damage to the dry port as well as vehicles and containers.
