The Board of Directors of National Commercial Bank Limited has elected Dev Kumar Dhakal as the Chairman.

After Friday's meeting unanimously elected Dhakal as the chairman, he assumed office. Dhakal has more than 30 years of experience in Nepal Rastra Bank in various responsibilities. Dhakal, who recently served as the director of the National Bank, is knowledgeable about the financial system, banking administration and regulatory system.

The newly appointed Dhakal was welcomed by bank board members Mahesh Bhattarai, Laxman Ghimire, Prada Ramprasad Gyawali, Romila Dhakal Upreti, Dr. Surya Bahadur Rana, Chief Executive Officer Devendra Raman Khanal, the bank's management committee officers, company secretary Pramod Adhikari and the staff of the chief executive officer's office. 

National Commercial Bank, which was established in 2022, is now providing services to more than 4.7 million customers in all 77 districts through three hundred and nine branch offices. The bank is focusing on technology-based financial inclusion and sustainable banking service development by making its services timely.
