The government has collected revenue equal to 11 trillion 78 billion 82 million rupees in the financial year 2081/082. This is 1 trillion 20 billion more than the financial year 2080/081. On the basis of percentage, revenue collection has increased by 11.33 percent.
In the financial year 2080/081, 10 trillion 58 billion revenue was collected. The target was to collect 14 trillion 19 billion revenue in the financial year 2081/082. A target of 12 trillion 86 billion was set after revision in the semi-warpic review.
According to the revised target, 91.60 percent revenue has been collected. Uttar Kumar Khatri, head of revenue division of the Ministry of Finance, said that despite the challenges due to the disaster and international situation, the revenue collection was encouraging compared to the previous financial year. He said, 'We have started the preparation . We will proceed to meet the target of revenue collection in the current financial year.'
The target of revenue collection is 13 trillion 15 billion in the current fiscal year. 4 trillion 5 billion in the financial year 2071/072, 4 trillion 81 billion in 2072/073, 6 trillion 9 billion in 2073/074, 7 trillion 26 billion in 2074/075, and 8 trillion 29 billion in 2075/076.
Similarly, 7 trillion 93 billion rupees were collected in 2076/077, 9 trillion 35 billion rupees in 2077/078, 10 trillion 66 billion rupees in 2078/079, 9 trillion 57 billion rupees in 2079/080 and 10 trillion 58 billion rupees in 2080/081.
