Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of petroleum products. The corporation has said that the petrol price will be reduced by Rs 5 per liter and diesel/kerosene by Rs 1 per liter with effect from 12 midnight on Tuesday.

With the decrease in price, diesel and kerosene in the first, second and third categories have been set at Rs 145 50 paisa, Rs 147 and Rs 148 per liter respectively and petrol at Rs 157 50 paisa, Rs 159 and Rs 160 per liter respectively. 

According to the new purchase price received from the Indian Oil Corporation, the meeting of the board of directors of the corporation held on Tuesday has adjusted the price according to the statement of the corporation.
