Birendra Raj Pandey has been elected as the President of Nepal Industry Confederation. The 22nd Annual General Meeting of the Confederation elected Pandey as the President. Pandey, who was previously the senior vice-president, was automatically elected as the president according to the constitution of the federation.

Pandey, who has been working as a member of the National Council of the Confederation for a decade in various committees, became the Vice President of the Confederation from 2075. Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, the outgoing president of the federation administered the oath to the newly elected president Pandey and handed over the office on Wednesday.

Nirwan Chaudhary has been elected as the senior vice president of the Confederation. Raj Bahadur Shah, Hemraj Dhakal, Rohit Gupta, Amit More, Bhim Ghimire and Gokul Bhandari were unanimously elected as vice presidents. Sandeep Sharda, Vidushi Rana and Prachi Aggarwal have been nominated as Permanent Invited Members of the Confederation.

President Pandey, assuming the office of the president of the confederation, said that the confederation will actively take the achievements achieved in the past and take them to new heights by institutionalizing them.
