China has pledged to provide necessary support to Nepal's energy sector. China's Energy Administrator Wang Hongch expressed the desire of the Chinese government to provide necessary technical and financial support for the development of Nepal's energy infrastructure.

During the meeting with Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka, who is on a visit to China, China's Energy Administrator Wang expressed interest in the latest situation in Nepal's energy sector and showed readiness for cooperation, said Sandeep Rai, Minister Khadka's private secretary to Kantipur.

Khadka is currently visiting China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) energy ministerial meeting. Minister Khadka met with Wang Hongch, administrator of the National Energy Administration of China on Friday, on the day the meeting was concluded in Ningpo, Chachang province, and discussed bilateral energy interests. In the

meeting, Minister Khadka congratulated the Chinese government for successfully organizing the energy ministerial meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization with warm hospitality. In the meeting, there was a cordial conversation about the long-term friendly relations between Nepal and China, mutual trust and strengthening cooperation in the energy sector.
