Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka has said that there was no manipulation in the contract process of Jagdulla Hydropower Project. At the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, he questioned how the ministry would act in a place where there is an online arrangement. He also claimed that action will be taken if there is any mischief.
"Since the Jagdullah Hydropower Company is responsible for all the work, the Ministry of Energy does not interfere, we are interested in going beyond the requirements. He said that 4 companies applied for the
contract process and 2 companies passed. He said that the company informed that the less talkative of the two companies got it and that the procedure was done in a proper manner. "The companies that don't get it are intending to get it in the canceled place, that is not possible, the more difficult companies have already clarified their position in different places," he said, "How does the ministry operate in a place where there is an online arrangement?" Action will be taken if there is cheating. Is it possible?'
