Tea export from Mechi customs office has increased by 40.50 percent in 11 months of current financial year 2081/82.

In the period of 11 months of the current year, 14 thousand 463.33 metric tons of tea were exported, Mechi Customs Office Information Officer Ishwar Kumar Humagain informed. In the same period of last year 2080/81, tea worth Rs 2 billion 75 crore 28 lakh 32 thousand was exported. According to the data of the office, until the end of May of the current year 2081/82, the export of cardamom has decreased by 3.80 percent. In the 11 months of the current year, cardamom worth Rs.
