Since last May 27th, the price of gold has been continuously increasing in the international market. When the market opened today, compared to Friday, the price of gold has increased by 400 tolas, while the price of silver has remained stable.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Business Association, today one tola of gold is valued at one lakh 97 thousand 500 and one tola of silver is being traded at two thousand 165. 

Last May 27, one tola of gold was traded at 190,000 and the same amount of silver at 2,165. On June 28, 1 lakh 91 thousand 300, on June 29, 1 lakh 92 thousand 900 and on June 30 and 31, gold was bought and sold at 1 lakh 97 thousand 100 per tola. 

In the international market today, one ounce of gold is being traded at three thousand 448 US dollars according to the international media.
