An agreement has been signed between Citizen Investment Fund and Rurukshetra Rural Municipality of Gulmi District to operate Citizen Pension Scheme for Women Community Health Volunteers.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the fund by Executive Director Parbat Kumar Karki and Village Chairman Yadu Gyawali. After signing the agreement, Karki, the executive director of the fund, informed that the funds of the participants in the pension plan will be safe and they will get pension benefits after retirement.
He asked the local residents of self-earning and other areas to participate. Similarly, Gyawali, chairman of the rural municipality, expressed the commitment of the local residents to participate. According to the
agreement, under the welfare fund management of women community health volunteers of the municipality, an arrangement has been made to collect Rs.
Under the welfare fund management of volunteers run by the municipality, an arrangement has been made that the personal account amount or any other loan or concession can be provided to the related person or the beneficiary only on the basis of the recommendation of the municipality. It is mentioned in the agreement that according to the Pension Plan Operation Procedure, 2076, the volunteers participating in this plan will be provided a lump sum or a pension after reaching the age of 60 based on the amount collected by the volunteer and the municipality. It is mentioned in the statement that the fund has agreed to provide up to 80 percent of the accumulated amount to the participants after the completion of five years of participating in the citizen pension scheme based on the recommendation of the municipality.
