Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has presented a proposal in the House of Representatives that 'a general discussion should be started on the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure for the coming financial year 2082/83'.

Presenting the proposal in the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday, Minister of Finance Poudel said that the tax involved in promotion of organic and natural fertilizer production, the removal of taxes to encourage digital payments and the implementation of the budget will increase economic activity. 

When Finance Minister Paudel was presenting the proposal, MP Rajendra Pandey demanded that the meeting be conducted only by taking it to a conclusion as the minister's words were not heard due to the MP's shouting. 

The meeting of the House of Representatives is being conducted amid the sloganeering of the Raswap MPs. In the meeting, a general discussion is going on about the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure. Another opposition party, RPP, has boycotted the House.
