The scorching heat has heated up the environment. Monsoon, which was visible in the eastern region a few days ago, is stuck there. With no rain, the temperature has reached 31 degrees. Due to rising temperature, it is impossible to go outside the house. That is why people from different parts of the country have started coming for rafting in the Trishuli River to beat the rising heat.

The number of people rafting in Trishuli River, which can be reached by car from Kathmandu and Chitwan in two to three hours, has increased in recent days. Not only rafting, but now people are seen doing 'cliff jump' in Trishuli and enjoying the cold water of the river.

Also, this is the most suitable time for rafting. Uddhav Kandel, owner of Trishuli River Side Resort and Trishuli Villa, who has been operating rafting business for a long time, says that the number of people coming for rafting has increased significantly.

'This is a favorable time for rafting, as the rains have not started, the water level in the river has not increased,' he said, 'the number of people doing rafting has increased as it is a family adventure activity.' He says that the number of people who come on holidays, go rafting and spend a night in resorts and villas has increased.

According to him, people come to Trishuli especially from Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara and other cities. "There are some people who go rafting during their journey to Kathmandu-Chitwan-Pokhara, apart from that there are people who come from Kathmandu and Chitwan for rafting and other activities", he said. According to him, people come here not only to escape the heat but also for activities such as sky cycling on the river.

Rafting on the Trishuli River is very easy, so anyone going from Kathmandu to Chitwan or Pokhara can do rafting on the way. "Rafting is for all age groups," said Kandel, the operator. According to

rafting guide Mithun Shrestha, Trishuli river itself is a major destination for rafting. He has experienced that the experience of playing in the rapids while rafting in the river in a group of family and friends is very exciting. Trishuli has become a major destination for rafting due to its proximity to Kathmandu and easy access to transportation.
