The Piplamod section of Nagadhunga-Naubise road will be closed for five more days from Monday. Earlier, from May 10 till today (Sunday), it was closed for four and a half hours daily. Road construction and improvement work was being done by closing the road daily from 10:30 AM to 3 PM.

Keshav Prasad Ojha, head of Nagadhunga-Muglin road eastern section, said that after the completion of the said work, they are going to stop the traffic for another five days.

Now he says that the work will be completed within the added time . "Now only 1 km from Nagadhunga check post is left to be blacked," he said, "100 meters of Jhaple River are not blacked, the road coming from Nagadhunga-Sisnekhola tunnel towards Kathmandu has been blacked for 2.2 km". The project has asked to use Sitapaila-Ramkot-Dharke road and Samakhusi-Tokha-Chhare-Trishuli-Galchi road as alternative routes for small and medium vehicles. According to the project, the vehicles entering Kathmandu from different districts were stopped at the mine in Dhading.
