The Ministry of Finance has started the homework of implementing the next year's budget. In the meeting held at the Ministry of Finance, the task of implementing the matching action plan between policies and programs, budget and milestones has started.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel has given instructions to proceed with the procurement preparations for the programs and projects included in the budget statement. He says that it will be easier to work quickly if the agreement can be made as soon as the budget is approved.  

Chief Secretary Eknarayan Aryal stated that no additional laws and regulations are necessary to proceed with the procurement process and expressed the view that the preparatory process for procurement will be carried out as mentioned in the budget. In the

meeting, there was also a discussion about paying special attention to the increase in capital expenditure for the current financial year. In the meeting, Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay said that the Ministry of Finance will immediately facilitate the transfer of funds in relation to plans and programs with guaranteed resources and necessary documents. 

He said that he would work on holidays and Saturdays if necessary for the facilitation of projects and programs with agreed sources and completed documents, and requested the secretaries of the relevant ministries to send only the work that has reached the process and can be done to the Ministry of Finance.
