By the month of Baisakh of the financial year 2081/082, goods worth four billion 75 million eight lakh six thousand 871 have been imported from Bangladesh through Kakdvitta. Products worth 35 million 62 million 97 thousand 827 have been exported to Bangladesh from Nepal.
According to Subas Pandey, head of Nepal Transport and Warehousing Company Limited branch office in Kankadvitta, unprocessed jute worth one billion 784 million 42 lakhs has been imported from Bangladesh.
Likewise, other imported items include batteries, poultry feed supplements, cosmetic items, hydrogen peroxide, jute yarn, electrical equipment, medicines, potatoes, paper, glass, food and beverages, etc.
300 million 27 million 79 thousand worth of raw materials have been exported to Bangladesh from Kakdvitta. Pandey, the head of the office, said that other herbs, animal feed, household goods were exported from here.
