Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, while submitting the economic survey of the financial year 2081/082 in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday, estimated that the size of Nepal's economy will reach 61 trillion 7 billion rupees.
The government has estimated that the contribution of the agricultural sector to the gross domestic product in the current financial year will be 25.16 percent, the contribution of the industrial sector will be 12.83 percent and the contribution of the service sector will be 62.01 percent.
The government reported that the gross national income per capita increased to 1,517 US dollars . Average consumer inflation is 4.72 percent, the government said.
